It refers to taste.
So with all these new anti-tobacco laws and whatnot passing, we're finally starting to see smokes here with wording on the little band you pull to open them up. This one says "'Lights' won't help you quit smoking. 'Lights' does NOT mean safer. It refers to taste". So I'm all down for "won't help you quit" and "not safer". But saying that "'Lights' refers to taste"? wtf? Sure, of course it's the "taste" that I feel as harshness on the back of my throat. Of course it's the "taste" that I feel or don't feel in my lungs when I waffle back and forth between Lights and Ultralights. *eyeroll*

I sure do miss my days of Camel Wide Filters. But now, this is my schtick. It's all about the filter on these babies.
