My favorite comment on this article, which sums up my feelings almost to a T:

"Since when is $133,000 to $148,000 affordable to people with that low of income? What about affordable housing for those households who make about $100,000 a year? Where is that? Either you're broke with a crappy condo or rich with a decent house, the rest of us can just keep on pissing our money away to Archstone. Thanks California."
